Mertie Price Williamson, 83, of the 200 block of South Newtown Road, died Oct. 13, 1995.
Mrs. Williamson, the widow of Frank W. Williamson Sr., was a native of Surry County. She was a member of Ocean View Presbyterian Church, the Lenox Garden Club, and the Christian Womens Club.
Survivors include one daughter, Sue W. Piper of Virginia Beach; two sons, Frank Watts Williamson Jr. of Brandon, Fla., and Kenneth E. Williamson Sr. of Norfolk; one sister, Jane Sawyer of Chesapeake; four brothers, Francis Price of Portsmouth, Hudson Price, Norman Price and Jennings Price, all of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Ocean View Presbyterian Church by the Rev. James Carriker. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Ocean View Presbyterian Church. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, in charge.
