Russell Dean Danley, 68, died Oct. 13, 1995.
Mr. Danley was retired from the U.S. Navy and from Norshipco. He was a native of Cambridge, Ohio, and a Baptist. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell Danley; one daughter, Lana K. Beecher of Virginia Beach; two sons, Leonard Kerwyn Danley of Virginia Beach and Russell D. Danley of Chesapeake; his mother, Rose K. Danley of Cambridge; four sisters, Jean Albaugh of Cambridge, Helen McKee of Cumberland, Ohio, June Jones of Marion, Ohio, and Mary Shaffer of Northridge, Calif.; two brothers, John Danley and Ronald Danley, both of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Nicole Danley of Saginaw, Mich., Ashley Danley and Kristen Danley, both of Chesapeake, and Kylee Beecher and Austin Beecher, both of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. J. Perry Crouch. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
