Emmie Jansen Harbuck, 89, died Oct. 13, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Harbuck, the widow of John H. Harbuck Jr., was a native of Atlanta. She was a homemaker and a member of Willowwood Presbyterian, where she was past president of the Women of the Church. She was a member of Elizabeth Chapter (NU)45 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy H. Wilgus and Ann H. Duncan, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, John C. Harbuck of Chesapeake, Robert H. Harbuck of Lawrenceville, Ga.; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Frank E. Drake. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, and other times at 4625 Bromfield Ave., Virginia Beach. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital or Willowwood Presbyterian.
