Helen Vincent Parker, 79, of the 3400 block of West Neck Road, died Oct. 15, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Parker was born in Voltaire, N.C., and was the widow of Lee Blackwell Parker Sr. She was retired as a school secretary from the Virginia Beach public schools at Courthouse Elementary School and was also a substitute teacher for many years at Courthouse Elementary.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Ryberg and Susan Wallace, both of Virginia Beach; two sons, John ``Jack'' Parker of Virginia Beach and Lee Parker Jr. of Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Margaret Vincent Oest of Norfolk; six grandchildren, Shawn Parker, Jamie Parker, Lee Parker III (Trey), Victoria Leigh Wallace, Lindsay Wallace and Michael Wright.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, by the Rev. Bruce Tuttle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time at the funeral home and other times at 3401 West Neck Road.
