John Bond Gillam, 75, of the 900 block of North King St., died Oct. 18, 1995, in Pitt Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Bertie County, a member of Cashie Baptist Church, and a carpenter.
Survivors include a sister, Katherine M. Gillam of Windsor; brother-in-law, Henry L. Howard of Roanoke; nephew, H. Craig Howard of Stanford, Calif.; great-niece, Theda Howard of Stanford; great-nephew, H. Craig Howard of Stanford.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Edgewood Cemetery by the Rev. Jack Byrd and the Rev. Grover Everett. The family will receive friends at 912 N.
