Joseph Floyd Culpepper Jr., of the 300 block of Sandpiper Drive, died Oct. 18, 1995, in a local hospital.
He was a retired inspector from St. Julians Ammunition Depot and Yorktown Weapons Station. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Portsmouth.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel Hawkins Culpepper; two sisters, Elizabeth C. Brown of Portsmouth, and Imogene Cook of Phoenix, Ariz.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Philip Parker. Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd., Chapel, in charge.
