Joycelyn Denise Woodard, of the 2000 block of Wingfield Ave., died Oct. 16, 1995, in a local hospital. She was a native of Chesapeake.
Survivors include one daughter, Zerlene Martin; her mother, Mrs. Daisy Mitchell of Chesapeake; two sisters, Catherine Felton of Seattle, and Willie Mae Gross of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; an aunt, Mrs. Pearl Williams of Virginia Beach; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1p.m. Saturday in Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Family and friends will assemble at 2011 Wingfield Ave., at noon Saturday for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service in charge.
