Alice Spivey Barnes, 75, of Rolfe Ave., died Sunday, Oct. 22, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was born in Portsmouth and was a former ticket agent for Capital Airlines for many years.
Survivors include her husband, William M. Barnes Jr.; a daughter, Nancy B. Holloway of Norfolk; three sisters, Catherine Wood of Petersburg, Va., Margaret Costner of Virginia Beach, and Jean Updike of Lake Wales, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Judge Hal J. Bonney Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
