Ernest Cook, 73, of the 2400 block of Middle Ave., died Oct. 22, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General.
Mr. Cook was a native of Waynesboro, S.C., and the son of the late John P. and Viola Mack-Cook. He retired from the Virginia Beverage Co. after 30 years of service. He was a member of Church of God and Saints of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Person Cook of the home; two daughters, Emily R. Cook of the home, and Ernestine James of South Carolina; one son, Ernest Cook Jr. of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be at noon Thursday in Riddick Funeral Service, by Evangelist Andrew C. Person Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at his residence.
