A. Lois Hollomon, 50, died Oct. 23, 1995, in her residence.
She was born in Norfolk and was retired from Bell Atlantic after 25 years of service. She was also a volunteer for Chesapeake General Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Norfolk. She was predeceased by a daughter, Andrea Hollomon Dukett and parents, Earl N. Ashe and Ruby Cannon Ashe.
Survivors include one son, Brett B. Hollomon and his wife, Kristina, of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Earlene and Michael McCarthy of Poquoson, Va., and Angela and Richard Morris of Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Danny Roberts in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
