James Samuel Hughes, 65, died Oct. 20, 1995, in his home.
Mr. Hughes was born February 9, 1930, in Norfolk. He was an employee of United States Gypsum Company for 42 1/2 years as a forklift operator. He lived in Chesapeake for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hughes; one son, Howard Hughes of Junction City; one sister, Marjorie Rolka of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will conducted today at 10 a.m. in Ogden City Cemetery, Kansas. Johnson Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.
