Frank E. Hicks, 66, of the 2100 block of Pearl St., died Oct. 22, 1995.
He was a retired equipment operator for Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
He is survived by his wife, Loe Bell Hicks; three daughters, Deborah Ann Elliott, Diana Jones, and Wanda Jordan; five sons, Frank E. Hicks Jr., Raymond Hicks, Michael Hicks, Darrell Hicks, Kyle Hicks; a sister, Annie Mae Jenkins; a brother, Walter Hicks; a stepbrother, Warren Hicks; 20 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will be at the residence and the body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
