Leroy Adrian Dail, 72, of 4020 Poor Ridge Road, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 24, 1995, in Britthaven of Nags Head.
A native of Perquimans County, he was the son of the late Miles E. Dail and Ruth Williams Dail. He was a retired head mechanic with Outer Banks Contractors, a member of Son-rise Church of Christ in Kill Devil Hills and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Miller Dail; three daughters, Paulette D. White of Herford, N.C., Thelma ``Pete'' Dail of Kitty Hawk, and Charlene Dail of Kill Devil Hills; a son, Roy A. Dail Jr. of Kitty Hawk; two sisters, Thelma Appleton, and Hazel Krause, both of Hertford; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Swindell Funeral Home, Hertford, and at other times at the home of Jimmy and Paulette White, 411 Wynne Fork Road, Hertford. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Cedar Wood Cemetery, Hertford, with the the Rev. Homer Styons officiating. Donations may be made to Son-rise Church of Christ, 1311 Goldie Street, Kill Devil Hills, N.C. 27948.
