Martha Herndon, of the 400 block of W. 28th Street, died Oct. 22. 1995.
She is survived by her son, Vernon M. Lowe of Norfolk; seven sisters; nine brothers; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Thursday by the Rev. Anthony Moses in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Chapel. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery. Viewing will begin today at 4 p.m. The family will assemble at the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
