Elizabeth Clendenin Ergenbright, 69, died Oct. 23, 1995.
She was a native of West Virginia and was the widow of Hollis Lee Ergenbright. She attended Azalea Garden Church of God. She was former vice president of East Ocean View Civic League, Sentara Select Plus and Choral Group.
She is survived by a daughter, Toni R. Cook of Norfolk; a sister, Helen Blake of West Virginia; two brothers, Harold Clendenin of West Virginia and William Clendenin of Michigan; and two grandchildren, Aldo Cook of Virginia Beach, and Gina M. Cook of Norfolk; and a dearest friend, Sally Troxel of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Tom Grinder in Azalea Garden Church of God. Entombment is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
