William A. Williford, 78, a native of Portsmouth, died Sept. 24, 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine Williford; one daughter, Diane Williford of Hyattsville, Md.; two sisters, Lillian W. Silva of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Doris W. Goodenough of Trenton, N.J.; two brothers, Morton Williford of Portsmouth and Charles Williams of San Antonio, Texas; and two grandsons.
The funeral was held Oct. 18, 1995, in Indianapolis. Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, in charge.
