Unidyne Corp. won a contract worth up to $48 million to work on technical training devices at Navy training schools across the nation. The Norfolk-based engineering-services firm will remove or modernize old systems and install new ones at the schools. Unidyne will help the Navy relocate equipment from its training school in Great Lakes, Ill., Unidyne Chief Executive David Conner said. About half the work will be performed in Norfolk, where Unidyne employs 464 people, Conner said. The initial contract for $13.1 million is for one year and has three renewal periods. (Staff) by CNB
