Maggie Mason, 112, of the 100 block of Hatton St., died Oct. 24, 1995, in Manning Convalescent Home.
She was a native of Portsmouth and was preceded in death by her son, LaGrand Newton Sr. She is survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today by the Rev. Herman Williams in Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth. Burial is in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. today. The family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 2:15 p.m. for the funeral service.
