John C. Robertson Sr., 81, died Oct. 25, 1995, in his home.
He was the retired secretary/treasurer for Hampton Roads Tractor and Equipment Co. where he worked for 44 years. He was a native of Talladega, Ala., and a member of Temple Baptist Church where he was teacher of the Beacon Bible Class for 45 years and was a deacon and trustee of the church. He was also founder of the Deaf Baptist Chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Josie Robertson; two sons, John C. Robertson Jr. of Beverly Hills, Mich., and William D. Robertson of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today by the Rev. Mark Pullen in Temple Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, in charge.
