Lillie Belle Brown, 103, died Oct. 26, 1995.
She was a native of Elizabeth City and a charter member of the Denbigh Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Denbee's Club and Home Dem Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara W. Brown of Newport News and Jeanne B. Hargis of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Denbigh Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Jerry Helms. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Myasthemia Gravis Research, 11 Koger Center, Suite 232, Norfolk, Va. 23502, or to a favorite charity. Umphlett Funeral Home is in charge.
