Robert Lee ``Pinky'' Powell, of the 700 block of Luther St., died Oct. 23, 1995, in his home.
He was a native of Norfolk County and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Bells Mill. He was a construction worker.
He is survived by five daughters, Gladys Holmes of Norfolk, Karen Moore, Marion Watson and Stephanie Watson, all of Chesapeake, Doris Harris of Leesburg, Fla.; three sons, James Lee Watson, Robert Lee Watson, both of Chesapeake and Jeffrey Watson of Lawrenceville, Va.; three sisters, Bernice Evans of Philadelphia, Doris Wyngate and Viola Artis, of Chesapeake; three brothers, James Powell Jr., William Powell and Henry Powell, all of Chesapeake; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Bells Mill, by the Rev. Kim Brown. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing today at 3 p.m. in Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The family will assemble at the residence at noon.
