Martha Elizabeth Brock, 1928-1995, was born in Enfield, N.C. She has been a resident of Norfolk for the past 48 years.
She is survived by her husband, Woodrow W. Brock; their children, sons: William David Brock, Stephen Allen Brock, and John Michael Brock, his wife Penny and their children: Aaron, Lorin, and Nicholas, and daughter Nancy Ann Bowles and her children Jonathon and Laura Elizabeth.
She is also survived by her sisters Nadene Carroll and Arlene Saunders of North Carolina and a brother John Ronald Savage of Virginia Beach.
Known to most as Elizabeth, she was a dedicated nurse for over 25 years and an active member of the A.B.W.A. in Norfolk as well as St. Pius X Catholic Church.
The funeral service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. The family gratefully request any memorials made in her honor to a charity of your choice.
