Minnie Move Culpepper, 89, of the 900 block of Harpersville Road, died Nov. 19, 1995, in Baptist Retirement Home.
Mrs. Culpepper, the widow of Robert E. Culpepper Sr., was a resident of Portsmouth for many years. She was a member of Port Norfolk Baptist Church and a native of Pitt County, N.C.
Survivors include two sons, Garland R. Culpepper, and his wife, Kathleen Culpepper of Portsmouth, Robert E. Culpepper Jr. of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; one sister, Ethel Dail of Tarboro, N.C.; five grandchildren, Richard A. Culpepper and David S. Culpepper of Chesapeake, Philip E. Culpepper of Chapel Hill, N.C., Blake E. Culpepper and Lorena Barnes of Kill Devil Hills; seven great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Flora Ellen Smith of Norfolk; a niece, Leona Koon of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Loving Funeral Home by the Rev. R. Wendell Sodergren. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. The visitation will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of donor's choice.
