NANNIE P. NICHOLSON

Nannie Parks Nicholson, 81, of the 200 block of South Third St., died Nov. 19, 1995, in Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.

She was a retired sales clerk from Nicholson Pharmacy, Murfreesboro. Mrs. Nicholson, the widow of George E. Nicholson, was a native of Northampton County, N.C. She was a member of Murfreesboro Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula N. Stradley of Murfreesboro; a son, Stephen E. Nicholson of Sharpsburg, N.C.; a sister, Maggie Davis of Rich Square, N.C.; five grandchildren, Deborah N. Moorer of Folly Beach, S.C., Ivey H. Gums of Gainesville, Fla., William H. Stradley Jr. of Boone, N.C., Paul Andres Stradley of Franklinton, N.C., and Rick Nicholson of Houston, Texas; three step-grandchildren, Richard Davis, Heather Evans, Kim Horton, all of Rocky Mount, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia N. Harris.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Murfreesboro Baptist Church by Dr. Davis L. Smith Jr. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro.

The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Stradley, 419 Harrell St., Murfreesboro.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or a favorite charity.
