As you gather with your family to celebrate and give thanks on this holiday, think for a moment about the 40,000 people in hospitals awaiting a life-saving organ transplant and ask yourself these questions: ``When I die, am I going to be an organ donor? And if I am, does my family know of my wish to donate my organs?''
These questions need only be asked and shared one time. And what better time than when you're in the presence of your entire family, thankful for and reflective of your life and theirs.
In fact, take a few moments to ask all the members of your family about their individual wishes. While it may seem to be a morbid subject, it is really an opportunity to consider your lives in a most profound and thoughtful way. And to deal with questions that ultimately must be asked of each of us.
After all, Thanksgiving above all else is a day of sharing. Share your life.
