Flora Potts Grigg, 70, of the 5700 block of Andrea Drive, died Nov. 21, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Grigg, a retired registered nurse, worked for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a native of North Carolina and Christian by faith. Mrs. Grigg received her nursing training at Cabarrus County Hospital in Concord, N.C.
Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, W. Granville Grigg Jr.; two sons, Walter G. Grigg III and his wife, Jean, of Chesapeake, and Robert E. Grigg and his fiance, Marianne Bodenburg of Norfolk; a sister, Emily Potts Rawls of Chesapeake; a brother, Samuel E. Potts of Minneapolis, Minn.; and two granddaughters, Carla Grigg of Norfolk and Angela Jones of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. The family will receive friends in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, Winston-Salem, N.C.
