Old Dominion University's third annual Kwanzaa celebration will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday in Webb University Center.
Kwanzaa, an African-American cultural celebration that begins Dec. 26, emphasizes the seven principles of Africa's harvest festival.
Sunday's program includes an African-American marketplace with cultural items and foods, and musical and dance performances. There also will be interactive storytelling and a fashion show highlighting African clothing.
General admission is $5, and children 3 and younger are admitted free. Tickets are $3 for college students with identification. by CNB
