St. Leo College, a fully accredited liberal arts college with offices on many Hampton Roads military bases, is opening a branch in the Chesapeake civic center.
The college grants associate of arts degrees and bachelor of arts degrees for a host of majors.
Initial courses will include communications for management, criminal investigation, social problems and the principles of morality.
Registration for classes will be held Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Chesapeake Police Department, Public Safety Building, Room 124, at 304 Albemarle Drive. Prospective students can also register at any St. Leo College campus through Dec. 20 and from Jan. 2 to Jan. 4. Classes will begin Jan. 8 with the term ending March 9.
