LEONARD H. FUTRELL

Leonard H. Futrell, 78, died Nov. 30, 1995, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.

He was a chemical engineer and plant manger for Allied Chemical where he had worked for 30 years. He was a native of Norfolk and a member of Heritage United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach. He enjoyed golfing and playing bridge. He attended school at Virginia Tech where he was in the Army ROTC Program and attained a bachelors degree in chemical engineering.

He is survived by his wife, Madeline Futrell; and son, Lonnie Futrell of Vienna, Va.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by Minister T.P. Reynolds Jr. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
