William Edward Biddle, 94, formerly of Portsmouth, died Dec. 3, 1995, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Biddle, the widower of Anna Estelle Hasty Biddle, was a native of Philadelphia, Pa. Mr. Biddle, an electrician, retired from Procter & Gamble in 1964, where he was a long-term honored employee in electrical engineering.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean C. Biddle of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Helen Sawyer and Virginia Biddle, both of Portsmouth; a brother, Randolph Biddle of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. T.M. Frye. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
