I would have an extremely difficult time if one of my three sons was called upon to serve in Bosnia.
Unfortunately, I see too many parallels to Vietnam, which our president so openly avoided. Perhaps the fact that I was a lieutenant in South Vietnam while Bill Clinton was protesting our involvement influences my feelings.
At any rate, I hope all Americans will support our troops in Bosnia better than Bill Clinton did those in Vietnam.
