Richard Kevin Stafford, 35, of the 4100 block of Berwyn Way, died Dec. 6, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Stafford, a clerk for Southland Corp. and 7-11 Stores, was a native of Alexandria, Va.
He is survived by his father, Newton L. Stafford of Portsmouth; his mother, Dorothy Dodson Stafford of Suffolk; two sisters, Ruth Barnikow of Portsmouth and Pamela Perdue of Norfolk; two brothers, Randy J. Stafford and Cecil F. Stafford, both of Suffolk; paternal grandmother, Reba Stafford of Hopewell, Va.; maternal grandmother, Ethel Leonard of Alexandria, Va.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Larry O'Brien. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and other times at 108 Ben Hogan Drive, Portsmouth.
