Ernest Leslie Story, 59, of 28316 Mt. Horeb Road, died Dec. 5, 1995, in Southampton Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Southampton County and was the son of the late Allen Henry and Lacy S. Story. Mr. Story was a retired self-employed laborer, and was a member of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church.
He is survived by a sister, Helen S. Francis; two brothers, Frank Story and John B. Story, all of Franklin; six nieces, Loretta Surace, Connie Williams, Sylvia Owens, Bettie Jean Barbier, Ellen Gyoker and Mary Dunlow; six nephews, Carroll Story, Johnnie Story, Roger Story, Melvin Story, Michael Story and Roy Francis. He was predeceased by two brothers, Tommy Story and Howard Story.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Mt. Horeb Cemetery by the Rev. Dr. Reginald Warren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home, and suggest memorials be made to Sycamore Baptist Church.
