Simon P. Perry, 88, formerly of 2700 block of Rodgers St., died Dec. 5, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Perry, retired vice president of Norfolk Dredging Company, was a native of Newton, Mass. He was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church, and Norfolk Power Squadron. He was past commodore of the Great Bridge Cruise Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsie Harrison Perry; a daughter, Elsa P. Brooks of Montpelier, Va.; a son, Herman R. Perry of Williamsburg; three grandchildren, Kristie Perry, Stacy Perry and Kelly Perry, all of Williamsburg.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Reginald G. Rumburg. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
