Irving Way Ritter, 81, of the 1300 block of Willow Wood Drive, died Dec. 6, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Ritter, a homemaker, was a native of Norfolk. She was a lifelong member of Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Lakewood Garden Club and Kings Daughters Auxiliary.
Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, David M. Ritter Sr.; a daughter, Rebecca R. and her husband, Joseph H. Kelly, of Hampton; a son, Dr. David M. Ritter Jr. of Angwin, Calif.; and two sisters, Anne Graham Herrington and Dorothy Way Eustis, both of Richmond.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Pastor Evelyn Puckett. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorial donations may be made to Colonial Avenue United Methodist Church or Kings Daughters.
