A 66-year-old Hampton woman who was critically injured in a Granby Street car accident Nov. 9 died Wednesday morning in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, police said.
Hattie M. James of the 2000 block of Richard Ave. was traveling south in the 4100 block of Granby St. when the 1991 Ford Escort she was driving ran off the road and struck a utility pole. She was taken to Sentara Norfolk General, where she had been since.
She died at 6:41 a.m. Wednesday. The cause of death and the accident are under investigation, police said.
