John H. ``Bubba'' Arrington, of the 1700 block of Atlanta Ave., died Dec. 6, 1995.
He was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard where he worked for 32 years. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church where he was involved in the Male Chorus and Deacon Board. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Lodge of Masons (NU)102 and past potentate Arabia Temple (NU)12 Shriners, and Lott Carey Layman's League.
He is survived by his wife, Erma C. Arrington; daughter, Ruby Belvey of Philadelphia; son, Theodore ``Ted'' Arrington of Norfolk; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday by the Rev. Patricia Coker-Bell in Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
