Mary Patricia O'Hara Turek, 60, of Colington Harbour, Kill Devil Hills, died Friday, Dec. 8, 1995, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Turek was born in Newport News and was employed with Beach Medical Care. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and was a graduate of Peninsula Catholic High School. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Markham O'Hara and the wife of Peter M. Turek of the home.
Besides her husband, surviving are two daughters, Faith Marie Turek of Princeton, N.J., and Mary Ann Taylor and husband, Dennis, of Elizabeth City; two sons, Peter C. Turek and wife of Kill Devil Hills, and Patrick Turek of Newington, Conn.; two sisters, Maureen Smith of Hampton, and Eleanor Gail Mizelle of Elgin, Okla.; two grandsons, Dennis Taylor of Elizabeth City and Michael Turek of Princeton, N.J.; two nieces, Debra Nichols and Amy Mizelle; and two nephews, Mark Nichols and John Mizelle.
A funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 11, 1995 at 2 p.m. in the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church by Father Terrence Collins. A viewing will be held at 1 p.m. The family suggests that memorials be made to the ALS Association, 21021 Ventura Blvd., Suite 321, Woodland Hills, Calif. 91364. Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo, is handling arrangements.
