A. Consideration of the city's 1996 legislative package. Motion to table until next meeting, 7-0B. Consideration of the city's proposed Capital Improvements Plan. Motion to table until next meeting, 7-0C. Consideration of the city's participation in the Hampton Roads Sanitation District's Windsor Force Main. Approved, 6-1 (Harris opposed)A. An ordinance appropriating $117,167 from the General Fund Unappropriated Fund Balance to meet contractual obligations - Second Reading. Approved, 7-0B. An ordinance accepting and appropriating a grant award of $92,820 from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services for implementation of the Fifth Judicial District Community Corrections Program - Second Reading. Approved, 7-0C. An ordinance accepting a grant award of $1,400 from the Virginia Department of Emergency Services for purchase of radiological Emergency Preparedness Program equipment - First reading. An ordinance accepting and appropriating a grant award of $35,550 from the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services for an incident-based reporting system for the Suffolk Police Department and transferring $17,775 from the Drug Forfeiture Fund for the city's share of the project - First Reading.
