Kenneth Linwood Kirby, 85, of Burtis St., died Dec. 12, 1995, in a Portsmouth nursing home.
Mr. Kirby was a native of Norfolk County and a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was also a member of Cradock United Methodist Church.
Mr. Kirby is survived by a sister, Lillian K. Taylor of Wilmington, S.C.; a brother, James E. Kirby of Portsmouth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in Cradock United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Close officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Loving Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to Cradock United Methodist Church. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
