SAMUEL NOTTINGHAM

Samuel Nottingham, formerly of Manning Convalescent Home, the 100 block of Hatton St., died Dec. 10, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Nottingham, a native of Norfolk, was a Baptist. He was the son of the late Nancy and Amos Nottingham.

He is survived by four nieces, Mary Benns and Nancy Sawyer, both of Norfolk, Wanza Johnson of Landover, Md., Sarah Freeman of Virginia Beach; three nephews, Norris, Leslie, and Theodore Booker II, all of Noroflk; and a host of cousins including Nellcille Johnson of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be conducted at noon Friday by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter in Metropolitan Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk. Friends will assemble with the family at 3164 (NU)G Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, on Friday at 11 a.m. for the funeral procession to the chapel.
