Sarah J. Riddick, of the 3500 block of Forest Haven Lane, died Dec. 12, 1995.
Mrs. Riddick, the widow of Austin E. Riddick Sr., was a native of Norfolk County. She was a member of Grove Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include four daughters, Joan Riddick of Newark, N.J., Betty Robinson of Virginia Beach, Brenda Thomas of Portsmouth, and Katherine Andrews of Chesapeake; five sons, Austin Riddick Jr. and Danny Riddick, both of Portsmouth, Augustus Riddick and Dennis Riddick, both of Chesapeake, and Michael Riddick of Ventura, Calif.; two sisters, Fannie J. Overton of Portsmouth, and Dorothy Gantz of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Helen R. Langford of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Melvin Marriner. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 2 p.m. Saturday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
