Helen Kay Turner, 88, of the 500 block of Fort Worth St., died Dec. 16, 1995, in Autumn Care of Portsmouth.
She was a native of Portsmouth and the widow of Thomas Robert Turner. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Hampton and was formerly active in Kempsville Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach and Simonsdale Presbyterian Church of Portsmouth.
She is survived by four daughters, Shirley T. Keirn of Portsmouth, Vivian L. Bowman of Hampton, Betty V. Campbell of Bend, Ore., Helen T. Woodman of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Ronald T. Blade and Dr. James Nowell in Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel. Burial is in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
