Lillie Mae Rideout Gurganus, 92, a homemaker, died Dec. 17, 1995, in a health care home in Chesapeake.
She was born in Whittakers, N.C. and was the widow of M.F. Gurganus.
Survivors include two daughters, June G. Curling of Norfolk and Faye G. Streat of Richmond; a son, M.F. Gurganus of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro, N.C., by John A. Hope and son, Milton F. Gurganus. Visitation will be at Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall/Kempsville Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
