Mary Arietta Haught, 86, died Dec. 19, 1995.
She was a retired teacher of the Marion County, W.Va., school system. She was born near the city of Colfax, W.Va., and was the widow of Howard E. Haught. She was a member of Oaklette United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice Marie Elliott of Chesapeake and Sarah Ann Arnold of Clarksburg, Md.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Sebert Rorrer in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial is in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
