Leroy Booker, 69, of the 1800 block of Montclair Ave., died Dec. 19, 1995, in a local hospital.
Mr. Booker, a retired truck driver, worked for Sears Roebuck for 30 years. He was a native of Norfolk and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Norfolk, Rising Sun Lodge (NU)2, and U.S. Army Veterans of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah E. Booker; a daughter, Juanita L. Knight of Norfolk; two sisters, Elizabert Jones of Chesapeake, and Dorothy Hudgins of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Senika C. Booker and Michael L. Knight, both of Norfolk; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Goldie Mapp, both of Portsmouth.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Norfolk, by Father Walter Barrett. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. A Wake service will be held today from 7 to 8 p.m. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, in charge.
