Regarding ``Pickett action missing'' (letter, Dec. 8): Congressman Owen Pickett may not be seen grandstanding on C-Span, but he is an honest, hard-working statesman who is the first to arrive at his office every morning and the last to leave at night.
He is always accessible to his constituents and is looking to keep this area growing and vital. Thank God for Mr. Pickett. I wish we had more like him in Washington.
