Calvin Hugh Buck, 79, of Route 2, died Dec. 23, 1995, in a Suffolk hospital.
A native of Pitt County, he was a member of Savages United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer and businessman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Tripp Buck.
Surviving are one daughter, Sandra Jordan of Virginia Beach; four sons, Mallory Buck of Gates, Kenneth Buck of Suffolk, the Rev. Joe Buck and Ronald Gene Buck, both of Gates; 13 grnadchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Harrell Funeral Home Chapel, Gatesville, by the Rev. Billy Presley and Ann Benson. Burial will be in Damascus Church Cemetery. Viisitation will be Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and at all other times at the home of Calvin Buck. Memorial donations may be made to Gates County Rescue Squad.
