Bertha Elliott of the 500 block of Wharf Court, died Dec. 22, 1995.
She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Elliott; one adopted son, Otis L. Jones of California; three nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Ebenezer Baptist Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. C.K. Jones. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
