Virginia Vesey Woodward, 84, died Friday, Dec. 22, 1995, in James River Convalescent Center.
Mrs. Woodward was a native of Norfolk and was a Peninsula resident for 45 years. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, member and past president of Marywood Garden Club and member and past president of the Sweet Briar Alumni Club.
Mrs. Woodward is survived by her daughter, Ginger W. Gast of Fairfax; a brother, Bill Vesey of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Mike, Caroline, Annelyse and Katie Gast, all of Fairfax; and niece, Susan Vesey Parker of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5 in Arlington National Cemetery. Weymouth Funeral Home is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 372 Hiden Blvd., Newport News, Va. 23606.
